WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Eucal Siggers (mother of John Siggers), began shampooing her friends' hair at her home in Alabama in 1938. In 1942, she began her career in cosmetology at Helen's Beauty Center in Roanoke, Alabama.  It was in this city that Ms. Siggers went on to open her own salon, Eucal's Cutters, in the late 1940's.

Over her long and productive career, she introduced many students to her profession, including her son John and his wife Carol, who now own and operate Siggers Hairdressers in Atlanta, Georgia along with their son, Chad,  and his wife Amy.

Eucal Siggers left a legacy of service to her friends, family and community.  The hometown salon that she opened many years ago is still operated by members of her extended family who have followed in her footsteps.
